今天，我突然觉得自己的生活好无聊，漫无目的，这种生活好象本来就不属于我所想要的，是社会强加给我的。
曾经我是立志做经济新闻的。大学里，我翻遍了图书馆所有我喜欢看的有关经济新闻的书籍。大学毕业在即，我在班主任老师的推荐下来福州日报实习，算是找工作前的“练兵”，并接受该单位的考验。经过几个月的考验，实践证明我是能干的，而且很快就能将所学的专业知识用到实际中去，实习期间所写的文章也是大家公认的“不错”、“还行”。当时一位主任还给我说，如果我留继续在这个部门工作的话，将给带我的老师以致命的打击，让他措手不及。但是后来，因为一些不明不白的原因我还是自已选择了离开，选择了我的第二志向——做网络新闻。做了三个月，我才发现我不是坐班的料，因为我的屁股上也有明显的尾椎突出，起坐都能感觉到疼，也许这就是曾经学生时代在书上看到的职业病吧。出于无赖，我跳糟了，仅仅工作了三个月，网络新闻的生涯就这样结束了。
后来我去了福州一家地市报，按领导的指示我干起了政法新闻、社会新闻的行当。每天我都像疯子一样到处乱跑，捕风捉影，猎奇，和别人去拼抢同一个“蛋糕”。
做了半年，我虽然进入做新闻的角色，但是我仍觉得空虚，一种发自内心的空虚。不是因为做不好新闻，也不是因为没新闻做，而是因为自己失去了目标，没有了航向。
有时，我在想，我究竟喜欢什么？福州究竟是不是我想长期生活下去的地方。福州气候是比四川好些，我深有感触。但是自然环境适合我生存，社会环境不一定太适合。因为，来福州才一年多，我已经明显感觉到了对这个城市的一些厌烦。有时我很想请求领导调我职去经济新闻部做我想做的事情，但是也有很多因素要考虑，所以暂时还得委曲。
今晚我没事做，很早就回到了自己的出租屋，一个人打开笔记本电脑电图，看下午在办公室下载的电影《停不了的爱》，看完后，我觉得曾经我也是与电影中的主角有同样的感触——坚持自己的想法，做自己想做的事情。但是后来，因为我长期生活在城市，所以很多都变味了，也不在纯正了。乡村的宁静与城市的灯红酒绿也形成鲜明的对比。但是我又必须在这种选择与被选择，适应与被适应中渡过每一天。
