Simulation Analysis of PSS of Tianshengqiao Hydropower Station Ⅱ Based on MATLAB
ZHU Jian-wei(Tianshengqiao Hydropower General Plant,China Southern Power Grid Frequency and Amplitude Modulation Power Company,Xingyi 562400,China)
The torque vector analysis is used to analyze the reason of Low-frequenly oscillation and the function of power system stabilizator to low-frequeucy oscillation control.Use Matlab simulink to set up the infinite system analysis model,a single machine for No.1 unit excitation control system of Tianshengqiao Hydropower Station Ⅱ.By phase compensation experiments and small perturbation experiments,they show that the power system stabiliztor is of better control action to the low-frequency oscillation.

With continuous expansion of the grid scale,it's difficult to use the traditional PSS to suppress low-frequency oscillation of the contact line between the areas,limiting the transmission capabilities.Additional control of a static var compensator(SVC) is proposed to implement the inter-area oscillation damping control and unit change in angular velocity deviation as SVC damping control signal.Time-domain simulation in simulink verified the additional damping control action SVC can effectively suppress low frequency oscillation.
