要不是因为，我恐怕是不会去看《公众之敌》（Public
Enemies）的，尽管当年闲着没事看过老爸买来的《盗火线》（Heat），被大大的惊艳了一把，但让我惊艳的不是迈克尔·曼（）深厚的枪战戏功底对枪战戏码精准的把握，那种没有慢镜没有配乐的真实的冷硬的枪战戏——大概因为我是女的，我对动作戏枪战戏基本没有感觉，除非实在不堪入目——而绝对只是两位影帝罗伯特·德尼罗（）和阿尔·帕西诺（）火花十足的表演（两个老家伙的对手戏不多，可绝对让您过足瘾）；再就是感情戏，《盗》中女人的作用非常特殊，并且几乎每个女人的身份和作用都不同，颇为微妙。
&&&《公众之敌》从本质上来说要比《盗》更冷更硬更男人，女性角色缩减到一个，爱情成了一条干净的线索，尽管贯穿全片，却并不能说丰满。不过我得说玛丽荣·歌迪亚（Marion
Cotillard）十分契合Billie
Frechette这个角色，美丽而不羁，充满令人着迷的异国情调，只有这样的女人，才能甘心为一个亡命之徒不顾一切，死心塌地，才能够做到为爱情不计后果，才能够爱他，才有资格被他爱，因为她骨子里有着和John
Dillinger同样的反叛和勇气。
Dillinger这个角色终于让Johnny
Depp从蒂姆·伯顿（Tim
Burton）的哥特风中挣脱出来，看到剧照海报我就颇为欣慰，天知道我多少年没见过Johnny正常的在电影里出来见人了，呵呵。John
Dillinger首先是历史上真实的人物，影片将他塑造成了一个兼具罗宾汉和007双重气质的劫匪，绅士优雅、劫富济贫。全片除了影片结尾的警匪全面枪战，John（Johnny

Dillinger，昵称就是Johnny，听起来很有意思）几乎不出手杀一个人，他绅士到把大衣和帽子借给在寒风中瑟瑟发抖的女人质，优雅到在抢银行时面对银行职员从口袋里掏出来的零钱微微一笑，道：“把你的钱收起来，我要的是银行的钱，不是你的。”。他聪明，他揭了负责抓捕他的探员（饰）的伤疤，却在对方反问他“什么让你睡不着觉呢？”时轻描淡写地对答道“咖啡”，而这一场戏，也几乎是德普和贝尔唯一的一场对手戏，回想起来，《盗》中德尼罗和帕西诺对手戏也少得可怜；他自负，在被捕时嘴角依旧挂着轻浮邪行的微笑，明星般和要求合影的工作人员配合，记者问他“您抢劫一家银行大概用多长时间？”，他答道“大概1分40秒”，记者们大笑，他也笑，他自负到面对Billie用“我甚至还不认识你”的托辞拒绝他时只说“我喜欢棒球、电影、名牌衣服、跑车，还有你，你还想知道什么？”；他忠诚，也要求忠诚，他从不怀疑自己的朋友，但是颇有讽刺意味的是，最后导致他被警察击毙的主要原因就是朋友的出卖。
很多美国电影一样，在这部电影里，传统意义上正义的一方和邪恶的一方的身份是站不住脚的。如上所述，John
Dillinger的形象被极尽美化，其命运使人扼腕叹息；而警察则显得无能被动，联邦调查局局长在新闻发布会上颜面尽失所以赶快找来屡立战功并手刃臭名昭著的劫匪“漂亮男孩”弗洛侍伊德的探员Melvin
Purvis负责抓捕John
Dillinger，而作为Melvin
Purvis，他的原动力显然也不是伸张正义，而是无限提升的大好前程，派到Melvin Purvis手下的警察无法得到行事缜密的John Dillinger的任何线索于是动私刑拷问Billie，却没想到一个弱女子如同革命烈士般宁死不屈。什么叫做“伸张正义”，我们很难找到答案，但我们却知道在片中联邦调查局所为，是绝对称不上的。
影片中后来Melvin
Purvis找来了一些老警探，他们对最后成功击毙John
Dillinger起了至关重要的作用，他们经验丰富，行事有条理，也是警察当中能称得上所谓“正义”的，他们不为局长而工作，也很难得到更多的提升。最后，正是一个老警察，知道去听John
Dillinger的遗言，而他却没有告诉Melvin
Purvis，他只告诉了一个人——Billie，John的最后一句话是：“Bye
bye,blackbird”...那是影片最后了，Billie潸然泪下...
