It gets really hard when you a dragged into the middle of an arguement then made to have to choose a side....now I would never say these things to my family but I feel like saying it here....I AM NOT GOING TO PICK SIDES....MY FAMILY IS MY FAMILY AND THAT IS THAT....I am messed up enough without the constant drama and fight that everyone wants to do....my whole goal in life is to make others happy and that is what I will keep on doing...you can either respect that or move on and let me alone....Getting caught in a war of words is not my idea of funJust wanted to say Hi to all my friends and apologize I have not been on the past couple days because of some major family issues. No, they were not involved in the tragedy in Va. They battled their own illnesses. It just really sucks. last week I had to deal with the death of a friend of mine, and now family! Whats scary and worries me, is that my Uncle had diabetes. Bad. His disease finally took his life. Friday, my step father went to the doctor over his diabetes. His sugar was OVER 900!!! For anyone that doesn't know anything about diabetes, that is BAD. Now he is on insulin because his body completely has shut down making it on its own.

I swear family can be a big pain in butt..you would think if someone was having a baby they would want the whole family to know..well not in this family..my cousin got his girlfriend preggers and we didnt find out intill the baby was born that he was gunna be a dad..and today we got an invite in the mail for the baby shower. Why would i want to go to a baby shower for a baby i didnt know was going to be born & buy things for a baby that i will only see in pictures. really makes no sense to me!!! Monday morning after much thought Hubby and I decided we would transfer the kids schools. that afternoon, I got a call from a friend of my father saying to meet the ambulance at KDH he had a massive heart attack.
so since Monday afternoon, all my time has been spent at the ICU with my father. He has been on a ventilator and with any luck will be off of it be tonight. I am the one who is left to make the medical decisions with my sister Jenn. (who many of you know, our relationship has been...strained these past months) but that is all bull put behind us and we both know it was silly and a little stupid. we are just both very stubborn, lol. I am a very tired goddess, and I wanted to take a quick moment to thank you all for the thoughts and texts I have gotten for support.

I am sorry I have not been on but my father in law has been very sick and we have been at the hospital. I hope to be on more now that he is doing better. I just wanted everyone to know I haven't forgotten about them just been really busy and its been a stressful week.

Thank goodness it is Friday, I was thinking, as the week had been a long and exhausting one. Suprisingly this last day of my work week was going swiftly. The filing was caught up for the week and the phones had slowed down, so I decided it was time for a quick break. I picked up my coffee cup and headed down the hallway. As I turned into the doorway of our small breakroom, I saw a very handsome man sitting at the table. He looked vaguely familiar to me, but I see lots of people come and go out of the office and decided I just WISH I knew him.
He was reading the newspaper, so I decided not to bother him with my chatter. I poured my coffee and sat at the table. There was a magazine in the middle of the table, so I grabbed it and started thumbing through it, glancing at him often. He had dark hair, and a serious look on his face. But now i have custody of 1 child at 13months and partial custody of another one at 18 months. THE DEVILISH ONEOk here it goes. If you know me well, You know I been having family issues. Whats a family? I was raised on fighting and arguing. My dad and mom sometimes took us to do things, but rarely..Lately I have had a good friend tell me I dont do enough with my kids. Says they dont know what family is. Which I agree to some extent, I mean we dont have a family night, or nothing like that. He doesnt have kids , and he was kinda upset with me, which I about went off because I think people that dont have kids , shouldnt judge those that do, but then I give him credit for tryin to help , and making me see this. It is summer time And i do agree, but see my thing is..My husband doesnt like the park, fishing , none of that, says its his fault for being boring , he guesses. So why did I let them suffer..I rarely get the van, and I spend time with them, but i agree they need more. I stayed away from making this a mum because I dont like the whole thing were people bash, but please honestly ...What do yI hear the music,

Yesterday we went to a birthday party for a 13 yr old, and I had a blast.
I took my 4 kids and my girlfriend and her neice as well as my mother.
Just being able to "hang with my crew" was fun in its self, but being able to just shut off the cell phone and unplug from the world and relax that was just ...... wow.
I hope that everyone gets a chance this week to unplug and get some sun with the ones you hold near to you, be they friends or family or both.

LOVE RUBIAMy family reunion is next weekend and I don't really want to go cause I don't want to see how many people I don't know in my family... I'm a daddy's girl so I always sit with my dad and ask him who everyone is... I really don't know much past my aunts and uncles and I don't even know all them. My dad has a really really big family so it is hard to keep up with it especially seeing how I don't see them but once a year if I'm lucky! I just can't wait to get down there an hop on a pattle boat, then later check into a hotel room and go swimmin.. I'm stayin the whole weekend down there with two of my sisters. We did it last year and had a lot of fun. We went an seen the Cumberland Falls and visited some of our family who didn't get to come to the reunion cause of health issues. Well gonna close for now cause I need to go to the bank and then go home to bed after workin all night.I was feeling good yesterday was actually Happy and the the drama of the past returns. A older relative calls to lay guilt tips on me and I end up defending my actions when I haven't even done a fucking thing to anyone in the first place.
Yes I have done some dirt in the past hell the kid I was 15 years ago if I bumped into today I would choke the life out of the bastard (I was a annoying asshole back then) But I lived through it and I have grown up some since then. Our aunt Lucille and other family members does nice things for me and my brother,like gives us presents and takes us to the ice capades or other things while my dads side are not so nice. I mean, our uncle Jeff takes our cousins Matt, Steve and Jim on vacations and pays for everything, and our uncles never gave us presents or took us to the movies or other things when we were younger or even now. This isn't how it should be! Besides that, my grandmom( dads's mother, puts guilt trips on us, while she has 2 sons living at home with her that can do and but things for her.
