1可以当成 i can 是修饰everything的,所以主句是 i will do everything(i can) to help you with the work,第二句也是这个道理2did这里不是强调,do也有做事的意思,这里是指士兵尽他们最大的努力,做了他们能做的,去抗击洪水.what they could 是个宾语从句,就把这个成分当成一个宾语所以,他的主句是 the soldiers did sth=what they could to fight……

都是表目的，第一个比较复杂，I can做everything的宾语从句；第二个句子and连接两个谓语并列to do表目的，这种很常用。
can是情态动词后面跟动词原形A是ing形式，错，c是过去式，错，d，to do sth(事情）缺少to和上题一样，错的地方。could是can的过去式不是，它是do的过去式
