USAA technique for the determination of the pore size distribution of molecular sieve materials is described. This method is based on the determination of the microporous volume accessible to molecular probes of different sizes. The method is used to follow the molecular sieve structure which develops during the pyrolysis of polysilastyrene (dimethylsilane-methylphenylsilane copolymer).
