  学习英语的朋友都知道,英语专业八级考试是对英语专业高年级学生英语水平进行衡量的一种外语水平考试,是目前我国体现最高英语水平的等级考试。随着专业考试的日益正规化,参考人数的不断增加,专业八级考试的权威性及社会影响力也在不断地提高,已得到越来越多的人的认可。  一般类型的大学中,只有英语专业的学生有资格参加考试,其他专业学生均无报考资格(六级优秀也不行);外语类大学中(上外、北外、北二外、西外、天外、大外、川外等),除了英语语言专业外,其他相关专业可以报考(六级必须达到600分以上),例如国际贸易、旅游管理等等;一般只有在大二报考专四,大四报考专八各一次机会;如果没有通过,第二年可以补考一次,只此一次,必须是在第二年考,不能推迟。专四的难度高于英语六级,而专八难度跟GRE有的一拼。专四专八考试将近,对于考试各部分的解题步骤不可小觑,参加考试的考生应找到适合自己的复习方法,备战专四专八考试。  英语专业四级、英语专业八级考试阅读是分高题难的部分,所以考生平时要多练习,做专八阅读时,要分配好时间,如阅读题每篇的速度可以在7分钟左右,时间的长短可以视文章的难度而适当调整。刚开始练习的时候最多不要超过10分钟一篇,最好一次做两篇,这样的话,强度不算太大,一般的同学都能够接受,20分钟内搞定,按照这种强度进行训练两周后,也就找到了八级阅读的感觉了。专四虽比专八难度低些,但对于阅读这部分,时间分配也必须适当,不可轻视。  此外,做阅读时也可这样,首先拿到阅读题可以先看文章的每段的首句和末句,而且只看首句和末句,对于首句和末句的阅读一定要切记,只有这样才能在规定的时间里做完4篇阅读,只有这样才能把握住文章的中心思想和每段大意。到答案选项时,选项可以先读,也可以后读,但文章题干一定要读。可以选些历年真题来做,每次两篇,每篇不超过10分钟,两篇最多二十分钟,多做题才是提高专四专八阅读的恰当途径。  听写,顾名思义,既听又写,它渗透在各种形式的语言活动中,是最常用到的基本功之一,作为测试综合技能的手段之一,听写可根据考试目的,对象等的不同,在选材难度,朗读遍数及速度,中间停顿时间的长短等方面,采用不同的形式,采用的是录音式标准听写,也就是要求考生在15分钟内在全面理解所听内容的基础上准确无误地逐字逐句写出全文。目的是测试应试者的接收性(听)与产出性(写)语言技能,其理解,拼写,标点等的能力。  首先要特别注意听写的题目,因为它是整篇听写的总提纲,而且在听写中这个题目肯定会出现。然后最好是在平时的练习中设立一些自己惯用的缩写形式。对于有些听不懂的单词也不要着急,最重要的是要听出整个句子。因为听写的文章一般都不会很难,你可以猜一下单词。还有,听第一遍的时候,最好先在草稿上写出每一句的开头,这样的话有助你后面的听写。
