something指的是工资。从语法上like in advertising和like advertising都行，但含义不同。前者是说在广告界找工作，后者是做广告。另外，and write on the side有问题，write应该用动名词。否则，它与谁并列？
这是大学英语课本上的原句，没错的，为什么用something而不用wage，something会不会指代in advertising，也就是说that pays in advertising
不用wage是因为wage太正规了。好像不会是in advertising，不定代词一般要代表名词性成分。
