4.粘多糖病，这种患儿出生的时候是正常的，但是到一周岁左右的时候就会表现出不正常，粘多糖病有多种类型，其中多种类型都会出现身材矮小的症状。
二、慢性系统性疾病
肠吸收不良综合征，缺氧型先天性心脏病、肾发育不良等都会造成身材矮小的情况出现。
三、宫内发育迟缓
这种情况下的孩子出生的时候身材就比较的矮小，常常不足2.5公斤，甚至是不足2公斤，这样的孩子出生之后发育也会比较缓慢，出现身材矮小的症状。
四、家庭性矮小
患儿父母身矮，这些患儿的身矮通常不严重，他们出生时正常，体态匀称。
五、营养缺乏性矮小
如果患儿较长时间内营养补充不足就会造成身材矮小，这样的情况只要是及时的补充生长所需要的足够的营养就一定可以获得好转。
六、精神心理障碍性矮小
由于不良的生活环境，患儿精神心理受挫折，造成生长缓慢。只要能够及时消除原来生活环境中的不利因素，数月后会出现显著的身高增长。
七、体质性生长延迟
即通常说的&晚长&，他们的青春发育期延迟，等到青春发育期，身高增长加速，成年终身高正常。
