[摘要] 很多考生表示面试时英语口语复试是一个很关键的环节，启航考研小编特此整理了复试中成功和失败的正反两个经典案例，希望可以为大家指点迷津。　　
一、失败案例
小刘同学外语不错，一直都非常自信。在面试之前他精心做了准备，希望可以展现出自己的实力。但是面试的时候，老师意外地没有让他用英文做自我介绍，只是用英语问了他几个专业方面的问题，而这方面他并不熟悉。眼看面试就要接近尾声，小刘越来越懊恼和沮丧：自己精心准备的自我介绍还没有机会展现出来!而自己在英文方面的能力和优势也得不到体现!终于，在老师示意他可以离开的时候，他说：&可以给我一点时间吗?我准备了英文的自我介绍和一段经典英文诗歌，我想朗诵给各位老师听一听&。可是老师们只是客气地表示欣赏，委婉地拒绝了小刘的要求，可想而知，非但精心准备的部分没能展示，对专业知识英文表达的欠缺也严重影响了口试成绩，结果失败了。
【点评】面试并没有一定的规则。你在面试前所做的准备并不一定都用得着，而你没有准备的东西老师未必就不会问。重要的是要灵活应对，不要刻意表现。一般进行外语口语面试的老师都是英语非常好的人，几个回合下来大概已经可以判断出你的发音准确与否以及口语表达水平。硬要画蛇添足，未免给人虚假做作之感。
二、成功案例
王同学报考吉林大学作物学专业，问题回答得相当不错。
老师问：Can you briefly introduce yourself and give me some reasons for why you choice our university?
答：First, let me introduce myself to you. (又补I am glad to meet you) My name is XXX. I come from Taiyuan, the capital of Shanxi Province. I have been studying in the forestry department of Shanxi Agricultural University since 2001. I am open-minded, quick in thought and very fond of history. In my spare time, I have broad interests like all the other young people, frequently I communicate with other people by making comments in the forum on line. I always believe that one will easily lag behind unless he keeps on learning.
The university is one of the most famous universities in the Shenyang province, it has massive academically environment. It develops into a comprehensive university with efforts of generations, more and more people focus on it. At the time, it takes the lead among the universities with nice teaching and scientific research ability. There are teaching research experimental bases, for example, the computer center, analyzing-test center, modern education technical center and so on. Moreover, it owns many well-known professors. I am interested in all. So I hope I can enter this university. That&s all, thank you for your question.
【现身说法】
可取之处：尽管我在英语口语表达上并没有做到最优秀，但是在考场中我没有犯沉默这一大忌，而是尽自己最大的能力去与老师沟通，让老师明白尽管现在的我不是最优秀的，但是我敢于去表达。同时在这一过程中，也让老师对我纯正的口语发音留下印象，所以最后还是拿到了公费。一切事在人为。
不足之处：没有表达出我在林学这一方面的优势，这是最大的缺点，在将近五分钟的表达过程中没有提到一个专业术语。
【考场支招】
口语面试中自我介绍是必须要准备的，一般包括：名字，原来毕业的院校，平时的爱好兴趣，现在报考的专业，为什么报考该专业，你对该专业的认识，简短评价该专业的发展前景，以及准备以怎样的态度去研究该专业等等。自我介绍最好能提前写好、背好，大概500字左右，可陈述2～3分钟。如果自我介绍比较充分，那么老师对你的提问就会少一点，即使在对答中有所闪失，前面流利的英文介绍也可以保证你过关。如果你的英文水平很好，那么这个环节确实会为你增分不少。但也要注意适度，不要过分表现。
考生和导师面对面交流时，要注意克服大部分人&哑巴外语&的障碍，不要紧张。即使你的口语很差，这时你也要表现出信心和勇气，因为复试时坐在你对面的老师是中国人，他们会理解你和你那不纯熟的中国式外语的。
大多数专业都会在考生进考场时给一份英文文献，先让考生阅读某段或者某几段，叙述大概的意思，然后老师会提一些相关问题。考生在进场拿到阅读材料后，要利用前面考生回答问题的时间，快速浏览大意。在老师示意阅读的时候，先用30秒时间对全篇进行宏观把握，再阅读指定的内容，这样效果会好很多，断句停顿的风险就不会太大。这样做还有一好处：在浏览时把一些生词找出来，在朗读时甚至可以直接跳过去。

　　2.自己的姓名、年龄、家乡和学校
　　这个部分应该是自己最熟悉的，而且最容易说好的。
　　My name is XXX，I am XXX years old. I come from XXX, a very beautiful city. My undergraduate period will be accomplished in XXX university in July, 2009, and now, I am striving for obtaining a key to your prestigious universuty.
　　注意这里有几个细节，首先就是说自己家乡的时候大家普遍容易犯的一个低级语法失误：I am come from&. 这本来是一句非常简单的话，结果出这么个错，会立刻给导师们留下一个不太完美的印象。因此建议这一句大家在练的时候务必多次重复，达到张嘴就不出错的效果才好。其次是关于介绍家乡时的详略问题。很多同学在写自我介绍的时候喜欢在这里将家乡描述得非常具体，其实并没有这样的必要，因此后面我们可以专门将其处理为一个单独的模块。第三就是对于目标院校一定要有一定程度的夸赞，比如：prestigious univerisity，这个被理解为&贵校&。
　　3. 自己的求学经历、性格特征及爱好。
