have been announced. The mega show will commence on February 5th and will go on till the 9th for general public. This will be the 13th edition of the country’s largest automobile show
Since its inception in the year 1986, Delhi Auto Expo has grown exponentially. This season, more than 40 vehicle manufacturers will take part and will showcase their passenger and commercial vehicles. More than 18 two and three wheeler makers will also showcase their vehicles including electric vehicles as well.
A variety of automobiles
The Motor Show showcases a wide variety of automobiles that range from cars, MUVs/SUVs, two wheelers, three wheelers, special vehicles, concept vehicles, commercial vehicles (trucks & buses), vintage cars, super cars and bikes. Other than the vehicles, automobile components like tyres, oil and tubes are also on display. The 2016 edition of Auto Expo will be held in two venues. One venue will be the India Expo Mart & Centre, Greater Noida. The Component Show would continue at Pragati Maidan from February 4th to 7th, 2016.

The India Expo Mart at Noida has been undergoing a massive makeover prior to the motor show. Two large halls are being created in the venue with carpet areas of 25000 sqm and 12240 sqm, respectively.
Entry tickets
The Motor Show 2016 is a ticketed event. Tickets are available online at /events/AutoExpo-The-Motor-Show-2016/ET and can also be collected from the designated outlets or be requested for home delivery by paying courier charges within India. Each ticket admits one person only and is priced at Rs. 650 during business hours (10.00-13.00 hours) and at Rs. 300 during general public hours (13.00-18.00 hours). There are no business hours on the weekends and the entry ticket costs Rs. 400 on those days. The event is free for children up to five years of age. No ticket will be required for persons on wheel chair and one person helping the person in wheelchair to move around.
Public conveniences
Free shuttle buses from selected Metro Stations in Noida and various locations in Delhi NCR will be available. Metro stations will open extra counters.

Auto Expo is jointly organized by &#8211; Automotive Component Manufacturers Association (ACMA), Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM).
