written是过去分词做状语be written是放在句中，做谓语，而且be还会根据人称有相应变化，代表被动
参考书上是作定语
是定语。老师口误了。修饰名词的成分叫定语，这里修饰the novel。
我也知道作定语表被动，就是不明白为什么不加be
